Reservations
To secure a reservation at Gram’s Place, whether online or by calling us directly, a valid and current credit card, in the name of the person who is reserving the room, will be charged for the amount of your first night’s stay to secure the reservation. Your credit card payment only guarantees your reservation. All remaining payments and/or outstanding balances on your reservation are due payable in full upon arrival at check in. One can pay one’s remaining and outstanding balances with either cash or credit card at check in. Any credit card used for payment of one’s remaining or outstanding balance must match the Identification of the person using the card for payment.
Walk-ins are welcome between the hours of 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM, although space is guaranteed only to those who have secured a paid reservation. Cash or Credit.
Valid and current government-issued identification is required of each and every Guest at check in. Pictures of or photocopies of one’s identification is not acceptable. One must have a real, current, and unexpired ID to stay at Gram’s Place.
Because we are a small family run business, we plan our day around arriving Guests, so please give us a call approximately one hour before your arrival. That way, we can ensure that someone will be at the gate to greet you!
CHECK-IN TIMES AND INFORMATION
One can check in between the hours of 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM daily.
Arrangements for an earlier or later check in can sometimes be arranged but only when one coordinates with Gram’s Place management via phone or email the day before one’s scheduled reservation. Please contact the Innkeeper at (813) 221 – 0596 or email us at gramspl@aol.com to arrangefor the possibility of your checking in outside of the hours between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
Dormitory Room Guests – The latest that incoming Guests checking into a dormitory can check-in is 10:00 PM because it would be disruptive to the Guests already checked in to the dorm (those who may be sleeping). Please take this into consideration when booking your reservation with us.
Private Room Guests – The latest that incoming Guests going into any of our private rooms can check-in is 10:00 PM unless otherwise prearranged with our staff.
CHECK-OUT TIMES AND INFORMATION
Check-out time for departing Guests is no later than 11:00 AM.
We are regretfully unable to accommodate late check-outs as we are a small family-run inn and we simply do not have the time to clean all of the rooms before our next Guests arrive without our being able to start cleaning at 11:00 AM
Departing Guests are welcome to hang out on our deck for a short while after check-out time because we understand that there may be a period of timebefore one’s bus, train or airplane departs. Please coordinate your intent with Gram’s Place management before 11:00 AM should you want to accept this courtesy.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations:
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT, IN ORDER TO CANCELL YOUR RESERVATION WITH A FULL REFUND, YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE CANCELLED YOUR RESERVATION BEFORE 2:00 PM TWO (2) DAYS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED RESERVATION DATE.
For instance, to cancel a Friday reservation for a full refund, one will have to have cancelled one’s reservation no later than 2:00 PM two (2) days before one’s reservation (Which will have been, in this example, the Wednesday preceding your Friday reservation).
Failure to cancel by 2:00 PM two (2) days before your scheduled check in date will result in your credit card being charged for what would have been your first night’s stay, or $50.00, whichever is the greater.
No-Shows:
In the event that you do not check in before 10:00 PM on the day of your reservation date, you will have forfeited your reservation and your credit card will be charged for what would have been your first night’s stay or $50.00, whichever is greater.
